It’s the month of May… the time of year when most reptiles go into what is called ‘brumation’.

Which is basically hibernation where they either sleep through the winter period or slow down completely.
Unfortunately for little Lockie, this year the weather has remained stubbornly warm.

But this story has a happy ending thanks to ARH Medicine Resident Dr Liz Druce and the team.
